Mampe is a preschool and foundation phase teacher. She began teaching in 1983 and has served on the Board since 2007.
Passionate about empowering others through education, and as Program Director at Trust for Africa (Lesotho), Mampe offers practical assistance and life skills training not only to the children being cared for at the Home, but to all vulnerable children living in the district.
Mampe was the Home's Manager from 2006 to 2008 and she continues to be particulaly interested in promoting life enrichment programmes for the staff too.
Charles went to St Stephen’s High School in Mohale’s Hoek and completed his BSc degree in Natural Sciences at the National University of Lesotho. He continued his studies in Lusaka, graduating from the University of Zambia with his MB ChB qualification. He did his Housemanship at the Pelenomi Hospital in Bloemfontein, South Africa.
Charles returned to Lesotho in 1992 and practiced in Qacha’s Nek for three years before moving back to Mohale’s Hoek in 1995. He and his wife, Dr Manamolela are partners in private practice in Mohale's Hoek.
Charles has served on the Board since 2001.
Gladys joined The Mophato oa Mants'ase Society in 2001 and has served on the Board for the past three years.
Gladys went to St Stephen's High School in Mohale's Hoek, has worked for the Jandrell Group since August 1977 and is a Lay Minister at St Stephen's Anglican Church.
Gladys married Geoff on Christmas Day 1977 and they have two daughters. They have fostered six children and are also very proud grandparents. With Geoff's wholehearted support Gladys has worked tirelessly to help her family, her church, her co-workers and the community of Mohale's Hoek.

In 2004 Lucy saw news reports about Mants'ase and immediately contacted the Home. From that day on she has supported Mants'ase Children's Home in many ways, including volunteering at the Home from August to December 2006.
On returning home to England Lucy founded Msizi Africa, a charity that has contributed significantly to the upgrading of the Home's facilities and which continues to provide regular funding, primarily for food.
Lucy visits regularly, has served on the Board since 2010 and was the Home's temporary Manager for a short while in 2011.
Grace is a Medical Clinician in Mohale’s Hoek and has served on the Board since 2008.
Born in Zambia, Grace studied nursing in Kitwe before travelling to Edinburgh in Scotland for her Midwifery training. Grace first met Dr Dave Moshoeshoe in Kitwe while they were both students and after she returned from Scotland they married and moved to Lusaka. In 1980 they settled in Mohale’s Hoek. Grace was widowed in 2003.
From 1993 to 1996 Grace studied Primary healthcare at Medunsa University in Pretoria and travelled extensively around Lesotho while completing her practical training.
Bill has served on the Board since 2001.
Born in South Africa, Bill went to Eshowe High School and was working for Barclays Bank when he was transferred to Mohale's Hoek in 1970.
In 1971 Bill resigned from the bank and joined the Mohale’s Hoek based Jandrell group of trading companies where he still works today.
Bill served as Secretary of the St Stephen's Diocesan High School Local School Committee for 35 years, and is on the Board of Directors of First National Bank Lesotho Limited.
